Swaddee Krub everybody,

Songkrang 2008,This is the sequel from first shot for the second round in the late afternoon. When I finished the first shot and start to walk to enter wat prakaew.I saw the monk and the nun with umbrella came out from the gate on the right that create lively atmosphere to this scene.

For post process,Firstly I croped a little bit then use curve a little bit to composition and adjust contrast. Secondly,I duplicat layer to split sky layer and use gradient effact and cooling filter for sky area.Thirdly,I use color balance and hue/saturation tool to adjust the color for architecture. Finally,I used smart sharpen, framing and resize to finish.

For information in brife: Phra Si Rattana Chedi, which it's claimed (somewhat improbably) houses ashes of the Buddha.Phra Mondop, in the middle of terrace, is a library built in Thai style by Rama I, known for its excellently crafted Ayutthaya-style mother-of-pearl doors, bookcases containing the Tripitaka (sacred Buddhist manuscripts), human- and dragon-headed nagas (snakes), and statues of Chakri kings.Prasat Phrathepbidorn(The Royal Pantheon), with full size statues of the first seven kings of the reigning Chakri dynasty (Rama I - Rama VII). Only open on April 6th, the anniversary of the founding of this dynasty.

For further information : wat prakeaw and you could look for this location in the map of wat pra kaew

Sawaddee Krup, Patshoo,
Nice shot and good frame. I like your work!
I saw this Wat through a bus window. Very nice architecture!
TFS!
Best wishes from Russia,
Serghei
P.S. I miss Thailand!

Patshoo,
This is a very nice shot! I like the repeating pattern formed by the three towers which lead the eye through the shot. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail.
TFS,
Asa

Hello Patshoo

From what I have seen through television documentaries, palaces and architectural structures in your country are always worthy of admiration.

Beautiful examples of art, worship, respect and majesty, with their brilliant hues, like this one. Balanced frame, good management of enlightenment.

John

Hi Patshoo,

Nice view from this explanidid palace. The 3 shrines placed perfectly in the frame. Nice light, colors and framing.

Regards,

Flavia

Hi Patshoo,
I only just looked at another photo of this same place! Different perspective though, I like it a lot. The people in the foreground make the image much more interesting. You've framed it like a postcard, and I really could imagine it being sold as one!
Regards
Lee

Hi Patshoo!
The picture is really nice and its vertical position was the only one possible to enhance the beauty of those buildings!
All the rest is perfect: colors, sharpness, low POV!
TFS - Congratulations!
Best regards,
Neyvan

Bonjour Patschoo,
un endroit vraiment unique au monde et sous un ciel aussi beau, sous des lumières aussi parfaites, ces domes dorés sont des plus resplendissants.
Le cadrage est parfait, la distribultion des couleurs interessante.
Regards.
Daniel.

P: you have some nice shapes, lines, and curves here - and the colors are spot. Great note as well. c

Hi Patshoo,
Side view is nice as well, and the golden structures are glowing well on your image under this nice blue sky, not seen too often there, just I'd frame it a bit more to the left.
Have a nice day JY

Hi Patshoo,
Wonderful vertical presentation this wonderful old golden temple that is seen in all its intricate details as it is wonderfully complimented by the vivid blue sky as it contrast beautifully with the lush green foreground.
Regards, Tom

Hello Patshoo,
This is once again a beautiful pov of the temple with strong colours.
I would have left a bit more space on the left as the one head of building is cut by the left frame.
Well done
Estelle
