Photographer’s Note

These people were collecting water with these colorful containers. It was one of those moments that I was struck by the lovely colors and pattern created by such a mundane, everyday activity. That is the beauty of photographing in India.

I agree, almost everywhere you look in India you are able to capture a worthwhile scene in your lens.

This is particularly colourful and I like the angle too. Pity not one persons was slightly looking your way.

The title of this picture is very good. See of colours: We don´t see any face (not with a strong presence) but we can see one of the main characteristic of India: The colours, and very well portrait, indeed. Congratulations from Madrid, Christina.

This reminds me of my childhood. It too had to stand with the binki (that’s what they call them in banglore, the plastic bucket) sometimes to get water. Nice capture of daily life. I like the tilt.
