Yellow - is sulphur. it is burning and evaporating. The smell stays on your clothes for weeks!
We smelled the hell and were walking on chlorine flakes: it was fun.

Hi Olga,

Yeah, I know how that feels! In the Philippines I made some pictures on sulphur springs. My God, could feel it in my lungs and my eyes. Quite painful!

this shot deserves much more than 4 points - perfect colours and detail that very well illustrate the nature of this place. even though I've never been there (but desperately want to go :)), I can easily imagine the dry flakes on the ground, the hissing steam and the stench. I also like the low point of view you have chosen, it nicely emphasises the distance. great shot.
