ian this is a great photo. However, a little note would be helpful to know whether it is a postprocessing result or an original...

Which fantastic light, the composition is very good with the girl which climbs while running. And in spite of enormous contrast the exposure is excellent.
Very good shot, congratulation Ian.

Très belle photo; mais, elle semble avoir été traitée. Peut-être qu'un commentaire nous en aurait appris davantage.

This is very nice - excellent use of the afternoon sun and good light. The moving girl in the foreground makes the composition.
With everyone out for their evening stroll on Galle Face, it is an interesting place to shoot. I haven't been there in over 10 years and wasn't in a photography phase at that time, so what is it like shooting there?
Also, an additional request would be that you record the lenses as well as the camera used to make this shot. That much more techical detail would help us learn a bit. This looks like a wide angle shot, but I would like to know how wide. Thanks
Cheers and keep shooting.

Wow! This photo is remarkable. It's absolutely perfectly captured and the subject, lighting, composition, exposure, and DOF is all dead-on perfect. Great work!

What an extraordinary and surreal image. It is haunting and quite unnerving. The light is quite unique. Normally I like to have a note, but I think this one doesn’t need a note. It’s a little bit ‘Dali’ Thanks, Kevin

Great lighting & the contrast between the darker sky on the left & the brighter colous on the right side are very effective.
I'd agree with some of the toher comments about a having a note for the photo & also some information on the lens, exposure etc. (of course it's not always possible to give such details). Great work!

Amazing! I love this shot. The sky alone is wonderful, but light, composition, contrast is really fantastic. there's nothing here to critique. awesome.

Lighting is very interesting, I like a lot. Composition is good, it shows a typical day with people walking in the street, something important and nice for a place that it has suffered so much last months. Well done!.

There's something to the photo that made me like right to it. Congrats Ian, nice work - there's a strange, but delightful, dynamic to it.

Nice shot. The rays of the setting sun works well. Also the cloudy sky adds to the beauty.

Even a little tilted, the atmosphere, the light, the personages made this image special. It's, somehow, like a story. TSF

its like 2 contrasting pictures stitched together Ian. Nice effect resulted out becuase of timing and positioning the camera. people walking into horizon and the girl running into the dark part of the picture, good one. even your note explains a lot (LOL!) - I mean, you left the imagination to the visitors and that leads to several creative comments.
