Photographer’s Note
Another picture from my trip to Beijing! This was taken at the Great Wall of China. I noticed that all along the wall, people tried to 'engrave' their names into the stones. (That's not a very nice thing to do, but it makes an interesting picture.)
You can see the names of people who have come from all over China to see the wall... from Hunan, Hebei, Guangxi, Guilin, Tianjin etc etc... Strange that these are all Chinese names!!
Contrast, brightness adjusted. Sharpened it a bit. I also could have done better on the angle.

nice shot, from the thumbnail i thought that there are just bricks... interesting to see all those chinese characters there. nice picture

Hello there SK ;-) Maybe an enlarged version of this could replace the aquarium idea... First time I've seen Chinese "graffiti" !

I like the contrast, it looks like the names are embossed or something. Good lighting.
