Balade sous la pluie dans un des plus vieux quartiers d'Irkoutsk. Toutes les maisons sont encore en bois contrairement au reste de la ville qui, après avoir brûlée dans un gigantesque incendie au début du XXe siècle, a été reconstruite en brique.

ces couleurs alliées à un ciel, je suppose tres gris, donne une lumière extraordinaire à cette photographie;-) jaime ce contraste entre ces fenetres d'un jaune passé et celles vertes et bleues.. mes compliments!

Green and blue are the favorite colors for russian home painting.
This shot reminds me of my stay in Irkutsk. From time to time, a very dark cloud of smoke would emerge from the city. No doubt, an isba like this one was burning to the ground. Mostly old people live in these wooden homes, for practical reasons, young people prefer buildings with electricity and running water.

The constrast between the blue 'living' windows and the dirt green 'dead' windows is rather striking.

Unreal colors, ghost like, strange and I like it all. The light spots (leaves?) add a good mysterious touch as does the perspective distortion.

This is a beautiful photo, Christian. You have captured the texture of the walls so well, and those two coloured windows are great. The composition is very good - great shot.

The subtle colours are superb. Details in your picture are excellent.
