This shot was taken from Sentosa Island, off the coast of Singapore. Sentosa is a theme park, rather like a Disneyland. This shot shows one of the many little islets around Sentosa.

Scanned from 6 x 4 print, boosted colour, sharpened.

Hey, I like ths shot because this island somehow gives me a lot of reasons to think... I like the fact that there are many of these because each of them is like a microcosm itself.
My workshop tries to improve quality because it suffered a little bit of your sharpening and colourboost. It just softened the shot but I somehow do like the result.

Thanks for this paradise shot, when we just begin to enter cold periods... Very good colors and light.
A pity that technical quality is not that good.

Lovely tropical image. As already mentioned there is a quality issue because of the scan. I think the Ws has done a good job to reduce the noise, but I prefer the colours on your original

Hi Tim;

Just going through your gallery and happened to notice a shot from my neck of the woods. Interestingly enough- the photo of mine you just critiqued was taken on my way to Sentosa from Singapore's Orchard Road.
Nice composition, but could be a little sharper and a little less noisy; I'm sure somewhat due to the scanning process.
