Photographer’s Note
My last post regarding the pottery workers in Vigan, Ilocos Sur. This is the same worker which was posted several weeks ago, and here, he's slowly shaping up the clay into its desired shape. They can do their work fast - they can complete a product in about 10-15 minutes. It was a joy watching them mold a piece of clay into a valuable product.

Hi Alford, A very well captured man in work shot. I like your PoV, the lighting angle and the body language of the intensive working of the worker. A very well taken picture showing the dynamics of the working process. Well done.

Hey Alford. This is a nice way to end the series. I found it informative and a nice departure from the typical TrekEarth fare. I like how obsessed the man is with the work. Good catch Alford!

Hi Alford,
Excelent close-up aproach to this worker digging' deep in this hard old art. Splendid composition in a vertical enquadrement with excelent colors and definition. Fine angle, light management and a good work.

Very nice image. Personally I prefer this closer view than the wider one because it brings some tension to composition. Not showing all also stimulates our imagination.
The exposure is excellent as well the sharpness, colors and clarity.
At a personal level I really enjoy this image as one of my grandparents was a traditional potter. Very interesting the differences between the potter-wheels from Philippines and here.

Hello Alford,
Action is well captured, and the worker has a good pose!
The use of additional light works well, and the colours and details are great...
I will imagine this is quite heavy work in the hot and humid environment!
Greetings,
Pablo -
