Photographer’s Note
This was shot for entry to a weekly challenge sponsored by a philippine photo site with "Reflections" as the theme. Upon seeing the shot on the LCD of my digicam I decided to change the composition by re-arranging the two marbles and use a full zoom shot instead of supermacro, as used here. I wanted to reduce the size of the reflected camera. The other shot was submitted but later, it was already too late, I noticed that this shot would have been a better entry. The votation ended today and luckily my entry placed first winning by only one vote.
The idea here was to show as a reflection a 360 degree surroundings by putting my kids marbles on the ground in front of a tree.

I love it. Great concept taking some everyday items and showing them from a completely diffent view. Maybe a little sharp? and just my personal preference but I think I would have liked to see the background marble in just a little bit more focus, but I love the reflection you have captured in the marble.
