Photographer’s Note

It was early april when I visited for the first time Armenia. We arrived in Sevan late in the afternoon, immediately before sunset. From the room of the hotel I had a wonderful view of the Lake. The snow, the light and the atmosphere there were simply magnificent, somewhat immobile. I put my camera on a table to avoid moving the camera. This is how this photo came out.

simply magnificent is an understatement... the place looks phenomenal... fine blue gradients galore... you've done a good job at capturing the moment as well. i wonder if the scene would look better at a later part of the day, especially late dusk. great job though :)

This is really superb. Sevan has a beautiful blue all year around but in this picture, we see every kind of blue in the sky, snow and lake. Bravo!
