Photographer’s Note
Shimshal is the home land of ismaelian people (the more famous of them is the Aga Khan).
Shimshal village is located in the north of Pakistan close to the chinese border. The green are in the background is Shimshal (at about 3200 meters high).
The Shimshal river is wide and sometimes wild and the glacier valley is wider and wider. The valley rises to the left and reaches the Kordhupin pass.
