Photographer’s Note
The Rock Temple in Trichy.
After taking two pictures I was told that photography is prohibited there, what a pity, it is a beautiful spot.

nice image maciek..
Only one thing bothering me here the bottom left corner. tehre is almost too much in the frame.
I would like to be concentrated more on the people..
It's also true that it would have been difficult to frmae it in another way.So you managesd well.
what about your thoughts EOS20D + 17/40mm??? Simon isn't happy at all.
A nice place to shoot , even though this is certainly not the best temple in TN, architecture wise!!..

This is a good scene with the girl isolated with a clear background and just about to place her candle. i agree that you could crop the bottom a bit here, although what is quite apparent is the sharpness of the candles against the sharpness of the girl. i like this scene, you did well getting this before they stopped you.
A shame about the yellow man with the hand bag who looks like he's late for work...

These are the types of shots that I like to see from you. Interesting composition, interesting subject and an interesting POV on it all. I like how the candle the girl is holding seems to illuminate her face and the people moving about and a little blurry make this shot very dynamic and a pleasure to look at. Good work, Maciek.

Hi Maciej,
Fantastic shot in ambiant light - The light on the photo is intimate and the light on the little girl is wonderful -
Thanks

Hi Maciej,
Its funny cuz i took a similar one very recently with these candles! :)
i like the picture mainly because of the compo here. (i always love those candle lights, but thats another issue, lol)
A good one from you as usual..

The composition and light appeals to me for sure, but there is something frustratingly distant about those people. I guess with the ban on photography you didn't have a chance to try different things. But I would like to see more of that light and a tighter composition. This one has a nice NG feel to it, but not intimate enough somehow.

yes a very nice scene and wonderful light. The only thing I'd like to add is that I'd like the girl isolated a bit more--don't know if this would work, but what if you burned the man to the right a bit more so that the girl had a brighter glow?

Hi Maciej,
The mood is very well captured. I particularly liked the effect of the low candles' light on the figures. You can feel the devotion there. Congratulations!! Thanks and best wishes.
