Photographer’s Note
.
Beside the business of transportation of pilgrims, local people also work on their rice paddies that filled with water up to abdomen, or fishing. In this picture, the fisher was lighting up the lantern, getting ready for her night-shift trapping of eels, starting by sunset from a cave under the limestone mountain alongside Yen Vy River..
Every year, from 1st full-moon till 3rd full-moon (between February and April), Perfume Pagoda Festival draws hundreds of thousands of people from all over the country. We arrived during the first few days of the festival — a very popular place and event for young couples to meet and it is also a place where many budding romances are formed. During this time of the year, Ben Duc is packed with thousands of row boats used for shuttling visitors coming for the annual pilgrimage of Buddhists. Although there is a road from the pier to the base of Perfume mountain, most people choose to use row boats on the little river, which is by far the more romantic and scenic route to Perfume Pagoda.

this is very nice, beautiful mood - so warm and cal. colors are nice, but there is sth wrong with the contrast - the picture is grayish. I think you are having some problems with post-processing - you use good equimpent, but your photos posted to TE don't look very well - not sharp, problems with contrast.. learn Photoshop ;)

nice atmosphere given by the light. I love the soft colors on the woman's face. too bad the shot is not sharp enough.

This would be a very beautiful photo but it's ruined by the fuzziness. I'm surprised it says you used a tripod! Great composition though.
