Photographer’s Note
The Oriental Pearl Tower in Pudong on the south bank of the Huang Pu River in Shanghai, rises to 468 metres, making it the worlds third tallest tv tower after the Toronto Tower in Canada (553 m).
The main observation deck is 263 m high. I've attached a workshop that shows the ground floor entrance. The 'tilt' is a combination of the 28 mm wide angle lens, (which distorts perspective), & deliberate, to add some dynamism & a slight diagonal to the composition.

yes, the bit of archi here is quite "tasty" but i wish i could see that chris made up his mind to either show us a stright view or tilted one - this one i personally find a bit of a missed opportunity, but its my taste, of cours, only;
otherwise - nice theme

Hi Chris, We have finally seen the entire structure. After seeing your previous two pictures, we'd wonder where is the top? It is colorful with nice contrast.

Hi Chris! Very good POV! I had a difficult time shooting this structure when I was there several years ago, I just can't capture from the base up to the peak. You also were lucky to have a clear blue sky as background. Very sharp and good composition! rgds.

Bonjour Chris,
Très belle photo encore une fois. L'angle choisi est parfair, le "tilt" va bien ici, il permet de présenter la tour en entier. Très bonnes finitions. Très bon !

Good to be able to see the tower up close in this upward shot, Chris. The details are well rendered and the tilt is well included; I have the feeling it could even be a little bit stronger. Nice colors.

Ah, you did it, Chris. Yesterday I wrote that I can understand why you could't take a picture of the whole tower, and now I see that you did! This is very impressive, and it reminds me that I MUST buy a 28mm lens, it is so usefull somethimes.
