Tea break # Day 2 Photo

Photographer’s Note

.. .. A neat image of breakfast. We were attracted by some dried sea fishes on the beach and found a hut occupied by a couple. We thought, there must be a village. Enquiring for water, pots to prepare tea and fire we were answered positive. So a break. We prepared some kind of soup (!) using water, chhtu (sattu, ground gram/barley powder) and shared with the owners of the hut. Then with their help we prepared tea. Meanwhile, 8-10 peaople from the village gathered around us.
Tea was shared among all of us. Then we crossed a backwater canel and started walking again. .. .. ..

Seems like you had a very nice adventure. Was just reading through your log (most enjoyable to read the details you painstakingly jotted down) ... was amazed to know that the 3 minute motor boat ride cost you 60p per head. I have forgotten what a 10 paise coin looks like! Is it still in circulation in that part of the country?

Really like the picture, Kausik.
+ Very nice detailing.. the trees at the top of the hill. Good shades of brown.
+ Wonderful color of the sand all over. Very nice setup to click Daily Life pics.
- Only distration here is the hind of the man in picture. I would have liked him not here at all.
