Photographer’s Note
The face of a massive sitting Buddha in the compound of Boddhi-tataung (1,000 boddhi trees).
Originally the abbot who founded this complex set out to plant 1,000 trees and place a Buddha image under each. Now there are more than 5,000 Buddhas from merely life-size to a 90 meter long Reclining Buddha.
This guy sits on top of several large elephants. His eyelashes are made from 1/2" rebar. Each eyelash is approximately two feet long.

Well framed sculpture shot. The eyelashes and its shadows are truly "eye-catching" Bob! ;-) And considering the use of a polarizer and the large bright surface you handled the difficult exposure metering very well here.

The eyelashes are certainly what makes this shot Bob. I like your tight cropping very much, and your colors and textures seem to be spot on as well. Nice work.

Oh, this is extremely well shot Bob, the shadows are perfect, adding a great deal of depth to the picture, really imposing.

I like it! Shot at a nice time of day and the right angle so shadow adds to the picture, particularly the eyelashes. Also appreciate the photographers note.
