[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In the misty rice terraced hills of Sapa there are many lovely villages. You can take a walk into the valleys for a day or two and stay overnight at one of the villages.
Water buffalo are an iimportant part of the lives of the people who live here helping them with their ploughing of the land, pulling carts and also for milk.

Wonderful image Wanda,

While one hopes not get all the clutter in an image - that reflects the village life there. One hopes to get the background clear - such as the hidden portion of another animals - but such a moment you did not hesitate a captured the scene as it was.

Hi Wanda. Nice scene which shows the bond that exists between such a powerful animal and the boy. Very good POV that reveals a few extra aspects of life in the hills. Regards. Klaudio.

bonjour WANDA.
j'ai une photo similaire dans ma gallery avec un bufle et un jeune garçon!
tres bonne composition!
good shot!
amitiés....aldo.

Dag Wanda,
Groetjes, Henk

This is so cute. I saw these little guys riding the buffalo in the Philippines and wanted to get a picture of this but never did. This is really great, I like the expression on the little boy, and the pov is pefect. TFS

Hi Wanda,
good presentation of the riding kid, but the most impressing is for me the water reflection with the grass and reflected buffalo. Good managed less light.

Hi Wanda,
Great daily life shot with fantastic composition. The timing is excellent, colours and lights are superb. Amazing genre photo, Congratulations. Have a nice day

Hello WandaWoman!

Because of the way you've photographed this scene, without complaisance and not trying to embellish it, your image have a documentary approach. It's a visual evidence of resilience to hard life and the capacity of humans to adapt to harsh conditions.

Your camera should be ready today - will leave to SA Monday.

Have a great weekend!

Wandré

Maybe a bit too much of the FG but a lovely photo, funny - serious expression of the little boy and all the surroundings (tyre etc) add great interest to the scene.
Compliments,
Best regards,
Cath.

hi Wanda

I like this shot of country boy riding the buffalo, truly interesting way of life in this part of world. No schooling? Very pleasant color tone.

Hi Wanda,

Good shot! It really shows us the way of living in Vietnam. I like the composition, but I think the black animal (a goat?) is a bit distracting. Of course, this is personal and it's not always easy to choose what you include in your picture. Well done!

Greetings,
ThomasL

Hello Wonder Woman,
at least that is what you suggest with your intro shot and with many posts here at TE :-)
This one is a nice example of these wonders that you create with your little Canon machine. The composition and action is a very nice one and if it wouldn't be for the old tire interfering with the buffalo horn's it could be an outstanding image. The texture and color of the tire and the horn are to similar and does some pixel confusion in my retina.

hello wanda

a wonderful moment capture! of course, i wish the boy was looking at you, but alas, cannot get everything we want, right? :) that old tire gave me a scare for a moment: looked almost like a crocodile...

congratulations!

Hi Wanda

Amazing and very vivid shot. The title is this picture is going very well with the shot. Its very natural shot since the boy did not know that he is been shot. Wow a very good composition and a very splendid POV.

Regards,

Lopshang.
