[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is one of the most common sights in Asia.
Growing rice is one of the hardest works of all, and takes the time of most Asian people. In the most fertile arias thay can grow up to three crops of rice and one of veggies every year. The 3-month cycle starts with cultivating the “swamp” lend with Honda Mechanical hors or real ox/water Buffalo.
Then making small and dens plant nursery, and then (as can be seen in the picture) walking backwards deep in mud with bent-back re implanting the plants one by one in the mud, surrounding millions of mosquitoes and listening to the loud voice of the toads – the same toads that will be served along with white rice latter this evening as the main course of diner.

Although he´s working, I´ve found your picture quiet relaxing. Must be the water. I like the compositions and I dont like so much the border, dont know the porpouse. Nevertheless great moment. Congratulations from Madrid.

Superbe photo Yuval, j'aime beaucoup la presentation ainsi que le sujet de la photo.
Bravo !

A theme that is often seen on TE but here, probably because of your border, and blurred background, it stands out, as if seen in a dream. The reflection is quite nice

Great shot Yuval, nice you shot it at an angle and the colourscheme is good. I like the note you wrote with it as well, gives a good insight. Thanks for posting!

An excellent image full of colour and "action". Congratulations ..

The fatigue and its reflection. A great picture. The fact you cannot see his face underlines that who works so hardly remains anonymous.

VERY Well built , shooted and processed picture .
"Rice born from the mirroring waters"

Eating rice is so common and I bet not many think of the hard work needed to raise it. But thanks to your note I will think about it next time I eat rice.
Nice colors and reflection. The diagonal angel adds much interest.

Common sight indeed, but very beautiful capture. Seems that your camera was close to the water as you shot, giving the picture a superb perspective/composition. I love the colors and their reflection in the water.
Frank.

Le flou sur le bord de la photo donne un peu de mystère à cette photo, beau travail

Great picture, i really like the composition.

Excellent composition of this daily work. Wondeful reflextion, the blure frame is a match of reflextion, a matter of taste:-)) I would perfer it without, but great photo.

Regards Kaj Nielsen

Beautiful capture and wondeful reflextion.Good angle perspective and composition.

I am a former combat-photographer, and your picture reminds me a famous quotation by Robert Capa: "If your pictures aren't good enough you're not close enough."

I was born here and I felt ashamed of never being that close and that low on the muddy surface of these rice paddies.

Thank you for sharing.
