Halong Bay is a bay dotted with many stone outcrops and still waters. It is quite spectacular and often you can also see large pink jelly fish in the water. You can go on a houseboat trip for a few days and some trips include kayaking around the bay.
Continuing from my post of yesterday with the people from the villages who come to your boat to sell snacks, here you can see a closer view of the snacks you could indulge in.

Hi Wanda, very nice daily life shot of this woman selling her wares on the river. She's like a traveling grocery store. The top down approach you've taken is particularly suited to this scene. There is so much happening in this shot and you lay it all out for us. Composition wise you've given us a colourful shot of her goods, but you have also nicely included a piece of the boat and oar with the river to give us a real sense as to what is happening. We see her dressed in a sweater and gloves for the cold, yet she carries a straw hat for the sun. Very nice presentation.

Thanks, John

Shootign from the boat has afforded you a good POV, I am wonderign if this had worked better as a vertical frame. I like the recurring patterns, details and colours. Glad she also has water all those crackers would be thirsty work.

Hi Wanda,
So this is the second part of that lovely scene you posted for us...
Excellent tones.
Rich, live... and the subject has a flavour too...
EXCELLENT.

hello Wanda,
I like this shot a lot, particularly the striking contrast between the party snacks and rough texture of the boat and oars. the unusual point of view works very to show how neatly everything is arranged in the boat, I find the patterns fascinating. excellent colours and details, very nice work.
with kind regards,
Kristine

Hi Wanda;
You have very good POV. Color patterns and texture in this pic are very striking. I like the composition with focus point on the conical hat.

Hi Wanda,
I sense it like much 'asiatic', with a characteristic mix of old and new. Old the boat, the hat and maybe a certain way of life, even if with some nuances. New much the rest: clothes and most evidently the plastic food (aka snacks :-) and bottled drinks. You did a wonderful compo, much eye catching, not only for the vibrant colours, but also for the graphics. I guess that the high POV give you a hand, but you took profit of your position very wisely.
TFS, Regards, José.
