You can spend a day or two on a houseboat on Halong bay admiring the amazing stone outcrops which dot the bay. People from the villages will come to your boat selling all kinds of snacks and drinks to tempt you.

Hello Wanda,

A shop on the water..wonderful POV u have here..!! an abstract POV but very well executed..!! I love the contrast between the goodies on his boat and the water here..!!!It looks like a lot of things in the middle of nowhere if i take this water to be somewhere in the middle of a calm ocean..!! good for survival..!!

Thanks a lot for this one
Regards
Indro

Hi Wanda,

Excellent high angle shot, covering the mobile shop in the waters. The cool colours of the water and the colourfull snacks in the boat excites.. That's a real enjoyment there....
All the best, dear friend.

I like the diagonal placement of the boat and your top-down viewpoint, but for me the boat is just too near the edge of the frame. With more of a gap there the shot would have worked a lot better.
Everything else works well - the viewpoint, the boat's interesting cargo, and the overall simplicity of the shot, with the boat surrounded by the green water. Maybe there was something out of frame to the right that you wanted to exclude?

Cheers,
Ben

Hi Wanda,
looks tasty this new kind of delivery. Good diagonal composition of excellent contrast and colours, a pity we don't see the driver's face, but that is sometimes life.

Hi Wanda,

Okay. I think you are now entitled to have your name attach to a style, an approach that characterizes your photographic work.

You might already be aware of Papagolfade, which identify the work of Papagolf who used to shoot a lot of churches. Same thing with Dolinade, from member Dolin who use to shoot people from behind. So now, when we see a church on TE, everyone says: "Great papagolfade...", whoever did the shot.

So from now on, every time I'll see a photo shot from above, I'll think of a Wandade! This photo is joining your previous bird eyes view shots, like "Shaving Heads", "Waiting", "Heavy Load I & II" and "Blue Cubes".

I really like this one, which is perfectly composed. The diagonal axis of the boat, the space to row in and the complete reflection. I also appreciate to see the lady in motion. Your vantage point allows to get a neutral background with the water, which is a welcome contrast with all the detailed packaging in the boat.

Another good wandade! (To be pronounced like Gatorade)...

André

Thats a lovely one with lovely colours and mood. I like the floating snack shop in this open with nice colours of the water. the view is lovely as well, absolutely from the top!

I like this photo Wanda - selling the modern packaged goods in a traditional means. Well framed on the river like that - and great angle you got!
Dave

Remarkable in its simplicity this shot is a view I have never seen. Your notes explain the reality of life on the river, very commendable.
