Photographer’s Note

She's the fourth son of the shell sellers that were the subject of the yesterday picture.

She was the only one sad. All the rest of the family have beautiful smiles on the faces. Except the young lady in blue.

Image took west of Doc Let beach, on a dusty village along the National Road One, 60 kilometers north of Nha Trang.

A very different photo from you but maybe it is normal when you consider that it was taken 10 years ago. The blue is captivating but those details are also worth observing for some time.

Hello Paolo,
This is not a "pretty" photo but it sure gives us a lot of clues about the everyday life in this Vietnamese village. The women busy doing their everyday chores and the family and friends talking in the background. I am sure that families are the central part of life here and people are probably coming and going into this house everyday. I love the expression on the little girl's face. Very good PJ style of photography.
