.
I was born in this city nearly 60 years ago.
Back and forth, left and returned many many times during my life. This time, I came back and saw many rich people have been richer, and many other poor people — like the woman on this boat — became poorer. The gap between rich and poor class of society has been larger even though one of the important point of Communist doctrine is to erase social classes.
"The potential for improving the lives of poor people by finding different ways of distributing current production is nothing compared to the apparently limitless potential of increasing production." (Robert E. Lucas, Jr., 1995 Nobel Laureate in Economics)

Hi Thanh. Nice shot with lot of depth. I share your concern and reciprocate your sentiments expressed through the note. Social and economic inequity is a sad phenomenon across the world. Well quoted from Lucas. TFS. Regards.

This is so romantic. Near the shadow of the wealth there lies the poor... a great contrast. A photo which consists of moody feeling. Well done. sothy
