[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Sunrise is a special time of the day at Danang Beach. Getting up early for a walk on this long beach, seemed a good idea. The place was already alive with hundreds of early morning bathers and some people tidying up for a day of visitors. In a word a glorious place to be.

First time i have tried a shot directly into the sun, but have seen some ads etc a little like this so hence the experiment. Only regret is the trip was too quick, would have liked an extra day to see more of this wonderful if rather remote place an hour's flight north of HCMC and similar flight south from Hanoi. Shows what a long thin country Vietnam really is. Only bad thing around here is the traffic where most drivers continually use the horn to let motorcyclists know they are a few feet from being squashed.

Hi Murray, very nice shot of this sunrise, the patio setup and palm tree make excellent silhouettes. I like too that you have a person in the shot, giving it some life. Great comp, with great colour.
