Growing the Rice
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This photograph forms the final part in a series based around a saying I heard whilst travelling in Asia - "The Vietnamese people grow the rice, the Cambodian people 'watch' the rice grow, and the Lao people 'listen' to the rice grow!!"
This shot was taken whilst walking through Sapa Valley, in far north Vietnam close to the Chinese border.
The small building on the left of the photo is a school. I've chosen to include the building in the photo as it's a nice reminder of the way the people live in this part of the world- very close to nature. :-) |

Hi James,

Nice composition on the landscape with good POV on the rice field - post harvest. My grandfather was a rice farmer & fisherman. Regards. Latiff.
Olá James!
I like this sensation of freedom created by this valley.
Beautiful, harmonic colors.
Congratulations and thanks for sharing,
Ana
