Man's best friend in this region of the world is not his dog... but his water buffalo, which is used for all sorts of tasks, including dragging cut trees as seen here. This picture was taken in the fields near the Bac Ha market (where one can actually purchase water buffalos).

Superb daily life picture ! the sharpness is perfect and the contrast and DOF are good too. I like the expression of the man at work and I'd like to know the weight of the tree. The buffalo doesn't seem to need help !

Très belle composition, un homme, un buffle tout simplement. J'aime l'expression de l'homme qui semble siffler. Le bleu de sa chemise est un peu trop tonique à mon goût, mais cela reste une excellente photo. bravo et merci.

A very nice shot, side by side and the dof is very nice too, I failed to see this on my first visit to Vietnam, but I hope to live there next year.
