The Vietnamese women in their local dress looks so nice walking and even riding a bicycle with the top part loose and flapping in the breeze. They get second looks not only from the locals but from tourists as well. Most of the young women in white are students.

Hi Andre.

When I visited Vietnam, I saw a lot of women who wore folk costume.
I felt that the dress was very functional.
The dress is cool and is mobile.

But it is beauty of the dress that I admired most.

Hello Andre,
I', not a big fan of black and white images, as colours in my opinion works better most of the time...
There are a few exceptions though, and this is one of them!
Beautiful lady, SE Asian women are sooo feminine whatever they do...
I'd wish for a blurry background but we cannot always have it all...

lonf time I did not go to Ho Chi Minh (8 years). i will be back there in a few weeks. I am pleased to see on your picture that thera still bicycles there, not only noisy motorbikes. They contributed so much to the delicate atmosphere of this country as shown so well on your picture. Thanks for sharing this with us.

This indeed is nice documentation of daily life in Vietnam. Choice of B&W is right on. I also like the point of focus here. The out-of-focus motorist in the front gives a good sense of motion. Regards,

This is a beautiful and classic image from Vietnam. The lady biker with the white suit and her long black ponnytail is perfect in b&w. Thec street scene is very rich and intereting.
