| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
1975 and the end of the war was before my time, I grew up in the aftermath of the collisions and struggles of the North and South, and East and West.
Before the Republic of South Vietnam ceased to exist, my parents told me their teenage years was full of laughter and innocence, amidst the escalation of the war. Before the busses were fitted with mesh cages to stop grenade attacks, and armed guards became as ubiquitous as the bus drivers.
I took this near my old house in Saigon in Phu Nhuan district. The bright smiling faces of the girls i knew in the photo made my parents and others, remember back to their decade that was, in love and war. |

Excellent. The photo looks like it could have been taken any time in the last 40 years. You've captured a nice expression on the three faces too.
Yo Jackie!
This is a great photo! Full of amusement and character. The girls dress is nicely contrast to the old rickety bus they pose behind. Good work for not cropping essential parts out. ie: Side of bus, the girls feet, etc.
Cheers
Jackie!
Splendid photo. They are very beautiful people! Sepia filter looks really good here!
Hi Jackie,
The photo reminds me some missing bits in my life - Thanks.
