[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In Vietnam one mother usually have some children, to make a living those children got to separate some different place because they have a different ways doing for living, a mother should be only with one but in their heart still always thinking about the others. I met those mothers every afternoon they have a fond remembrance of children and want to talk with those who share the same plight in order to lighten their melancholy heart.

Mẹ già như chuối ba hương.
Như xôi nếp một như đường mía lau...
(tục ngữ ca dao...)

Tried to convert to B&W and repost. I hope someone will like it. Thank you

Well Thanh, I like it! ;)
Obviously, an improvement over your original version since their beautiful faces are much more visible (less dark) and there was that yellow color that was not very welcome on their face. Personally, I would have prefered a pure black & white, for a very simple reason: I'm not especially fan of brownish or pinkish B&W. But, I reckon, this is only my taste.
What makes this photo? These three women, with their smile. And I like the fact that one of them is looking straight at you. Their is a bond that I care for.
Small thing: if you have some skills in PP, you could clone the white "thing" that is just behind the shoulders of the lady at the right side.
You story? Sad. Very sad...
Claire

Thanh,
Certainly this is much, much better & dramatic than the coloured version...
tells so much about the mood & the feeling...
Cheers,
Prem.

Your words are so sad....but the photo so very beautiful. All Mothers are beautiful. You have captured beauty beyond words in this photo.

Take care,

Hi Thanh!
Uma genuina foto de familia inclusive pelos tons acertados que você escolheu. Great work.

Greetings.
