[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hanoi: the temple of Literature. After the visit to the famous temple, I was siting on some stairs, watching tourgroups walking around and guides explaining the historical importance of the temple.
In a very brief moment I saw this vietnamese lady walk by. The light was just superb. 1 second later she vanished again in the shade.

Hi Lucus, a very interesting shot. The splash of red in the otherwise colourless world is great, however ones eye sees to be drawn to her hat.

This is really quite appealing to me. Like an abstract painting representing shapes and form. Was trying to google a similar piece by one of the designers at the German institute -The Bauhaus. The tilted geometric shapes work here, in a way that I feel would not if they were straight...

The red is the icing... I like that the woman is fairly abstract too...her downward glance and stiff posture helps to take a little of the life away from the image...

Very strange picture in which it's impossible to see the face of the girl, only her white hat in the middle of the picture. It's curious but it's very well done.
