| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Went shooting in the mostly undeveloped area of District 2, south of HCMC, with a friend who also happens to be a TE member(jraya). We walked around some of the dirt roads and soon attracted a crowd of kids who were more than happy to pose for the camera.
There is definitely a warmth and playfulness among friends here, no matter what the age. Guys will walk with arms around each other or even jump on each other in excitement. Girls will act as close as sisters or playfully hit guys in a way I haven't seen since elementary school. Sometimes seeing this is endearing, like this picture for me. But sometimes it's quite awkward, like the taxi driver who laughs at your joke and then puts his hand on your knee... |
