| This is one of many typical pepper gardens in Xuyen Moc district of Baria province which is about 50km away from Vungtau city and about 200km away from Phanthiet. The soil here is basalt which is more suitable for industrial trees and plants for example, pepper, coffee, rubber, cashew, etc than rice. These brick-built posts which are used for the pepper plants to creep up have been harvested and awaiting another planting time. These brick posts are a beloved image of provinces of eastern south of Vietnam like Baria Vungtau, Dongnai. |
