| Walking down some rice fields in the Mekong Delta I saw this little girl resting comfortably in a hammock! she looked so peaceful I had to take her picture.. I think her face is so beautiful and peaceful, not a worry in the world. |

Nice shot! Shame we can't see her other hand though..
Lovely shot! pity about the hand..i'd crop a bit off the left also.
She is adorable, and she does look very comfortable. Very nice photo.
What a great photo! She just seems so at ease! Relaxing in the hammock on her tummy...makes me want to go back to childhood!

What a beautiful shot. The lighting is perfect. Could you post a bigger version, though?
Geraldina,
Life in the Mekong Delta is supposed to be very laid back... There was an old saying that the southerners live off their fertile land with abundance. The locals would work one month, then spend the next month enjoying their simple life. I just don't know if that is the case anymore but I was told by my parents coming from the deep south.
Really enjoy your shot very much. Thanks.
