[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hue is my 2nd favourite city in Vietnam, next to Hoi An. A former capital of the emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty, the royal city of Hué is situated on the country’s central coast, midway between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

One of the popular sites in Hue are the 3 famous mausoleums - Tu Duc, Minh Mang & Khai Dinh.

Tu Duc mausoleum is well known for its water pavilions & its lotus-filled lake surrounding the mausoleum.

It's located 4-10 miles (7-16km) south of Hué; One way of getting there is to take a Perfume River boat trip and hire a motorbike taxi waiting at the riverbank to go between the sites. Remember to hold on tight when on the bike!!! And no motorbike helmets of course!! :)

Hi Cynthia,
Good angle for this picture, with the roofs in an upward arrangement. However, the picture seems to lack clarity and hence it is out of focus. Some sharpening might have helped.
