Ah, Bac Ha. Never made it our there, but not far (I was in Sapa). Nice stolen moment making full use of the vertical format. I like how the Hmong colors are reflected in the parasol in the upper right.
Very nice shot.
Cheers,
Francis

Hey Mark. This is a good moment, but there is something missing for me. With the composition you have, our eyes are automatically drawn to the face of the mother, but she is really not that big a part of the photo; both the man and the child are far more important, but they really are not as well featured in the shot. I think you need to shift to your right to get the best angle on this one.

Mark,
A very nice daily life scene. I love the postures and the traditional costumes. I slightly agree with Darren about moving to the right but otherwise and excellent shot.
Cheers
Peter

Szia Mark!
Exquisite details for their incredible native costumes; but what makes this shot for me is the man's expression looking at the little girl, filled with tenderness.
Lovely composition, colours

Hey Mark,

how's Taiwan trating you?

Lovely shot. I like the gentle mood of this photo and how you dressed it up in the vibrant colors and lovely patterns of these Vietnamese traditional clothes.

I want to see some of your Taiwan shots, Mark.
