Hello everyone!
This is the same girl as "Vietnamese Beauty" which I posted before. She was selling crickets along the road.
I saw so many lovely smiles there..
Technically, this photo is not without faults, as you can see the noise. I had a hard time against the strong light coming from back of the umbrella. I tried one shot with flash but her face was over exposed. Also cropped a little from left side. There was her friends hand.
Hope you like it!

Cheers,
Skye

She has a really beautiful smile, and I love the way you captured her happiness! It is not "perfect", but it's great and I love the way you took the photo and/or cropped because it looks like you were under her umbrella, like a close friend :-)

I am almost in love. Her smile is so beautiful and genuine. Well done to capture that and while she is still looking so natural. From how far distance did you shoot this one?
Cheers,
Jan

skye,
the light is nearly the best to be done in those circumstances.but u captured her happily smiling to the world and this is very nice .too lovely colors in your compo, and nicely cropped.

Hi Skye,
She's really beautiful, that;s right. Very cute freckles and smile.
When it comes to technics, it was a good idea to have it with the umbrella. The light is the same at the whole face. But on the other hand, it's a bit too dark.
Anyways, the overall is positive.
Cheers!

Hi Skye,
A splendid portrait, plenty of joy!
I like this close-up.
Nice colors too.
Alex

Mahmut K.

i just love the colors and the compo here
I think you've done a great job, even though you've had thos e technical troubles
thanks for sharing
Kasia

I think it's a great shot. Nice colors and lighting. The unbrella is a nice touch in the background. Great happy face. Nice work.

Hoho, a very sweet girl :) I'm trying to decide what's more colourful: her umbrella, hat or smile :-) All three make a nice combination. I don't care about technical details - who sees them, with this beauty? :)

Baci!

Doll :)

Hi
It's a beauty, indeed. And because of that we've got a beatiful photo here. The rest of the success is a good composition and colorful umbrella-background.
Take care
HS

Hi Skye
Indeed, a lovely lady with a lovely smile. And a lovely umbrella to shelter her from the burning sun.
Skye, you could use flash for this shot. Try to cover your flash with a piece of tissue paper to filter it and this will give a lighter flash against her flash, which in return will reduce the hard noise and brighten her face against the strong sunlight.
You can try with the one ply coverage using the tissue paper. If the image came out too over-exposed, try to have a two ply.
Cheers.
Eric Lai

hey skye, good to see you posting again. her smile is very nice, especially against the nice colourful background created by the umbrella.

i can see what you mean about her face being too dark, but i think for the composition it works well. it's not detrimental to the photo.

great shot!

Hello Skye,
Very nice framing and corpping,
I really like her smile, I find her face a bit too shadowy, maybe you can correct that with photoshop,
Well done
Regards
Daniel

Hello Skye, she is indeed a beauty with a very happy smile. I like the composition with her face on the left and the umbrella filling the rest of the frame. I was wondering if a little fill flash would bring out her skin tone more but I note your comment in the text. Did you try reducing the power of the flash?

She looks like she was very happy to be photographed! Nicely framed portrait balancing the umbrella and her face, and her warm friendly look makes it complete. Well done, regards, Ken.

Hi Skye.
Fred

Technical limitations aside, this is a great photograph, Skye. The colours and the smile give it a wonderfully vibrant feel. I was going to make the same comment about reducing the power of your flash until I saw Eric Lai's comment - I do exactly the same with a white handkerchief whenever I am shooting portraits close-up. Cheers . . . David
