Photographer's Note

The main market in Hue is alongside a tributary of the Perfume River. Each day several sampans pull up to the shoreline and the families living on them come ashore to buy and sell goods. At the end of the day they putt-putt off into the sunset to wherever they moor at night.

This particular family was highly enthusiastic about my taking their picture from the riverbank.
