[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Back in Vietnam, in a small village near Can Tho, this lonesome woman was working on her rice field.
She stood their peacefully, amidst a jungle like green environment, almost folded in two - with a no doubt wrecked back.

Sometimes I have an uncomfortable feeling about photographing scenes like these. Certain situations can make a nice image, but for these people it's just daily and hard reality. Her reflection in the water should be a reflection to us.

Since a few people suggested a tighter crop, I tried a little WS.

Bonjour Sabine

prettig weekend,

Luc.

Hi Sabine. The reflections are great... although, I think to crop just below the reflection of her head, showing less water and showing more trees would have been better. It is a good moment you caught, that action of the woman.

Gaby

Hi Sabine,

Nice shot from the rice field. I prefer the ws where you cropped it - it gives a better view of the woman. The reflections are great. Why do you feel unconfortable? Because you came sneaking? I'm sure you would make her day if you came "jumping" through the rice field with a small snack so you could have a break together...and you could have a lot of nice shots. I LOVE rice fields :)

Have a nice sunday.

:) Tina

Nice Shot and note Sabine. Yes, sometimes it is interesting for us to browse and enjoy an image without realizing the people in it. However, that when a good note like yours is so important for us to open our eyes to the reality. Thank you.
