That image was took from Bai Chay, the small city in front of Ha Long Bay. It was took from the terrace of hour guesthouse, built on the top of the hill on the back of the city centre.

Hi Poalo,

a bit dark, but perhaps that adds to the mystery. The compo is a romantic seascape in a classic rendition. Lonely boat on the high seas.

Nice seascape shot with the reflections on the sea and the distant landscape well presented. Still I think this compo is a little to much 50/50 split. Some cropping in upper or lower part had worked well.

Cielo sensazionale, mare scuro con riflessi di luce incredibili, e quell'imbarcazione.. li da sola.. ottima scena.. perfettamente musicata da uno splendido brano (quasi lisergico) dei Morcheba...

...non te l'ho mai detto ma la tua scelta di accompagnare le immagini a liriche di brani musicali è stupenda.. riesci a far "vedere" la musica.. e questo completa non poco la tua opera fotografica... COMPLIMENTI!!!

ciao Paolo,
mi piacerebbe avere il brano in questione, così completerei la foto con l suo giusto 'sound'!
Mi piacciono molto le nuvole, e naturalmente il riflesso grigio piombo sul mare!
Capisco il pdv di Jack, però penso che l'immagine sia volutamente simmetrica, e comunque c'è la nuvola a spostare l'equilibrio... l'effetto è ad "high impact", e credo fosse proprio quello che volevi!!

Wow... I really appreciate the captures like this one. Very powerful sky. Personaly I would had concentrate on the sky with a lower horizon line.

hi Paolo, there's always a specific mood in your photos, the aura of the natural beauty of the world, here as well- I like the shining trail on the water and the single boat so small against nature...
