Photographer’s Note
Duong Lam village is located in Dung Lam commune, Son Tay town, about 45km from Ha Noi. This is the place where two kings hero in Vietnam’s history were born, Phung Hung - King "Parents” and Ngo Quyen - who has brought the independence for our nation for a long time after the Bach Đang resounding military victory in 938. Duong Lâm also was the native land of Giang Van Minh - the famous king’s ambasador, who laid down his life to protect national honour.
Đường Lâm is the special feature village in the Northern midland with the laterite architectural complex included: village’s gate, waterwell... Nowaday, there still remain more than 100 ancient houses with a lot of historical sites such as Ngo Quyen mausoleum, Phung Hung temple, Giang Van Minh temple, Mong Phu communal house...
I shot this old lady near the Mong Phu communal house.

What an amazing posture you have captured - the low view point is great - what a nice moment. I'm curious about the saucers at the feet of the bench in the background - do you know why this is like this - for what purpose?
best wishes Kev

very evocative shot Nason! from the POV, her limbs seem to be separate from her torso. old age has failed to take her ethereal smile away from her. i wouldnt have restricted this ever-young lady in a border. nice capture again!
