Photographer’s Note
Day VI
I had a small "cruise" to reach and discover Kenh Ga, a kind of floating fishermen village, in the middle of Inland Ha Long Bay.
I had walk in the ricefields too, here, in the middle of nowhere. A place where the time is suspended and where "noise" means nothing !
One of the best "elsewhere" I have ever enjoyed !

Bonjour Stephane, compo tres resussie. Salutations, Francis

Why don't you crop this shot, mate? I mean your character is right in the middle...and when I say right in the middle he looks like a damn target out there. It takes but a few seconds in PS to get the guy out of the middle and off to a corner (take your pick: either left or right). Or you can crop in camera to begin with and save yourself a lot of post-pro troubles (and get better at this photography thing as well). The scene is cool, but not something most of us have not seen before. I would also crop a little from the top to make the feeling of a "sea of green" just a touch stronger. Anyway, nice idea.

.
It's difficult to decide when to violate the "not-in-the-middle-of-the-picture" law.
In this case, your violation is your success. Congratulations!

Great shot, Stephane
Beautiful big field of rice with one little farmer.
The capture is marvelous and very strong
And the best is that is so simple
But it needs some post processing
I made a WS I hope you like it

Hi Stephane,
After many grayish days, I suppose you liked to see these green fields, I also like to see them.
Maybe I would had tried to locate the man, on the right side, not centered, to create a better composition, anyway, to see him dressed in blue, in the middle of this green field, contrast very well.
Very good seen.
Best regards

Despite the subject is centred, the result is great. You are welcome to visit my Vietnamese album and others. Regards.

I prefer the main character not at the middle of the screen. But it's still a good shot :)

Ok!..yes,it could be better for off center of the farmer in composition, but I thi8nk it's still a good shot, sometimes useing the center composition could be nice, and here it's not bad,but it's a taste,...I added it to theme,Stephane!...hope you like it.
Full of green of rice field, full of working in a huge grand, and he must be careful for his farm till harvesting,...Thanks for sharing,I like it.

Hi Stephane,
nice idea and good realisation of this scene. Maybe I would crop a bit on one side and maybe even on the buttom and on top ... on the othther hand ... maybe I wouldn't change anything. Nice shot, Nino
