Photographer’s Note
A worshipper offers prayer at the colorful and amazing Cao Dai Temple outside of Saigon. The pillar you see in the background is one of many which add so much color and interest in this amazing temple.
ISO 200, Focal length 200mm (35mm equivalent ~ 300mm).Shot with a tripod, uncropped, normal post processing.

Nicely framed, and the colourful Kitsch column in the background offers a good contrast to sustain the plain white ao dai she's wearing. Very much a typical portrait from you.
I've just spent around 15mn looking at several of your photographs to try to understand when you use spot metering, and when you use a pattern (evaluative) one, and just can't figure out the reasons behind your choices. Any help on that?

If I nitpick I'd say those highlights in the top left are a bit too bright or even annoying given the otherwise very peaceful atmosphere of the woman at prayer. Covering them with her head would have been ideal I think but maybe bringing them down 5-10 levels would work too. The out-of-focus rendition of the Sigma is very good; the highlights melt into one form.

It a nice and sharp one Darren, with the tpod. Beautiful and sincere model caught unawares too which is the best. I'm trying to think of improvements - I would have cropped the waist down.

this is nice too - mostly because of that beautiful, colorful bokeh. i like the moment also, and your typical, a bit loose composition... nice photo
