Photographer’s Note
I took this in the Mekong Delta on my Nikon F55 in March 2004. I had to half stand and twist around in the back of the boat to take it. I have had to scan it from a print so the quality is not the best. I have adjusted curves and brightness and contrast in PhotoShop.
I Have re-scaned this picture and increased the quality a bit and re-posted it.

A very "primitvely" captured photo, with those BIG leaves and those SMALL boats cruising in a NARROW river. The color composition is good. I would say if you could another boat focus just in front of your camera will be "complete" for your photo.
Keep up the work.

What a great place! Where exactly was it? It must be tributary to Mekong or so.

Good shot. I really like the canopy formed by the palm trees and all the boats leading my eyes from the foreground all the way to the background. I've seen the original and the quality is better, but you might want to think about scanning from the negative/slide in the future (plus posting a larger image size as well). If you don't have a film scanner your local lab can do the work for you. Anyway, a very nice and original shot. Well done.

Good idea. It's a nice frame for a "highway", better than ours ;o) Yet, the traffic doesn't look better than on Paris' boulevard périphérique on the rush hour.
Nice colours too !

Love this shot. What an unusual looking water way.
The picture has a lot of character.
Very Professional.

You have a really interesting gallery, I'm glad you left a word on one of my picture so that I could discover it.
In spite of the small size and slight lack of sharpness, it is an amazing picture, I really like the way the leaves make a tunnel for the small boats. Looks like a very busy place, and just like in town, people are parking on the sidewalk! :^)

Hello Robin, I like this photo really. It's very nice and the colors are beautiful. It will be good if it was bigger, but it's a good photo anyway. Thanks for sharing, and thanks for your comments in my today's photo. Bye

A good travel photograph which could be used in a publication. The details are nice but it would be better if you could post it at 800 pixels high IMHO.
Great Job.

Hi Robin
I understand your problem with scanning. I suggest you try to scan the film (negative or slide), the result is much better than flat scanning of prints.
I guess this photo in print is a lot better, it has a great composition, interesting subject. A bit oe sky.
Good work

Hello Robin,
this is a stunning shot of the water way and how busy it was. But it remind me of the Marlon Brando's Apocalyse Now.
Great shot, well perspective and full of meaning.
regards,
Foozi
