Photographer’s Note
A detailed close up from a street market in the Old Quarter of Hanoi (Ha Noi) in northern Viet Nam. Lots of porcelain & china statues for sale!
Viet Nam was a vassal state of China, for several centuries before French colonialism, so there are still many Chinese influences throughout the country.

hi chris, this is a type of close-ups that i love to shoot when travelling: all shop's windows, market's stalls, bazaars - all of them deliver a tremendous photo opportunities and unforgettable varieties of colourful and fancy gadgets;
i adore this one;

Hello Chris,

Funny shot from the market, Chris, with a good use of repetition and a pleasant array of colorful details to be found in the lineup of the porcelain figures. Well seen and presented.

Interesting Chris. I like the repetition of the smiles. Good colors too. And I must say, good composition of faces and shapes.

Very funny and colourful capture, Chris, well seen.
It's a bunch of crap, but you displayed it nice and colourful here.
Yet, I think Buddha IS a happy person, I remember the first time I was in a Buddhist country, it meant a tremendous relief after having been in Indonesia twice. Very nice picture.
