A young boy at a silk factory in rural Vietnam, near Dalat in the Central Highlands. He was sulking as his father had just chastised him, but he became curious when he saw my camera and had a look at his photo.

Great to see another one of your shots here. True to style, a bit dark, a bit off-beat, true to life. After my usual summer break away from computers it took a while before I got into TE again, mainly because there just are not enough shots like this one, shots that jump out.
Sulking at the silk factory, haha!
Is that a metaphor somewhere?

I've been away for several weeks, so am trying to catch up! This is a bit special for me: the low-key lighting, the beautiful framing (giving the boy room to sulk into!), and your signature close-up candid style. Did you say he worked in a sulk factory??!

Qu'il est mignon ce petit, j'aime son regard pensif et boudeur à la fois...
Bravo pour ce beau shot!

Touching portrait. Truely brings out the pangs of child labour.very well composed to show how lonely he is in the crowd around him.well shot and thanks for posting.
