About 250 km north of Saigon there is a famous resort city called Phan Thiet. Besides many splendid resorts placed sea side, there is a beautiful fishing village near the city called Mui Ne where one can see real vivid daily life of village people. Bonus is the sand dune near the fishing village, where one can enjoy half day free at leisure well enough...

Great composition with this man and his footsteps. Good sharpness and colours.

Hi JS

Great shot! I like the contrast between the blue sky and the golden sand. Also, the contrast between the patterned sand and the footsteps trail. She wore very interesting bright contrasted clothes. I hope she was a beatiful woman too =)
A bit of information about the place or the woman will be helpful. I think some people might wonder about a desert in Vietnam which is usually depicted with tropical forests....especially in American movies =)

Well done
Toby

Fantastic photo - compo, exposure and subject - well done. A Vietnamese woman with a pineapple seems such a juxtaposition in a desert scene, just going by my intial common media-influenced perception. Nice!

Excellent POV.I really like the way you have put the subject..The lonely trails shows an interesting story.

Hi JS,
This is a splendid desert photo, simple but good composition.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi JS,
great shot, superb composition
Viera

Hi JS,

A top-notch image of impressive quality.

The composition is simple but so stunning!!! I like how your subject is coming out from a corner, the way she is dressed up in contrasted colours and the superb shadow she is projecting. The warm light, low and soft is awesome, the wavy textures are irresistible and the sense of wide space create a unique mood.

Great work!!!!

André

This is wonderful JS!
I didn't know that there were desserts like these in Vietnam, to me it looks a bit strange with a typical Asian person in something that looks Arabian or north African to me:)

Thanks for the info, although a small note could have been useful.
Harry

Great composition nicely framed, her footsteps coming leadign from the corner of the frame. Very nice colours tones also, I wish you had managed to capture her entire shadow also.
