Photographer’s Note
The Cao Dai Temple is so fascinating. As far as photography goes, it is frustrating in its richness. Colorful and interesting architecture, fasicinting people and a maddening number of potential shots. However, I actually found it frustrating and challenging in that when there were people inside, it was hard to find a good vantage point. the pillars are great, but get in the way. the worship is intriguing, but as a visitor, we are only allowed to view it from upstairs, jostling with hundreds of others. I know there are great shots to be had in here, but I had difficulty finding them. Here, I just liked how perfectly lined up they were and how they were being sidelit through a window. I have to get back there and have another go at Cao Dai.
Shot from a tripod, ISO 200, uncropped, normal post processing.

another nice image Darren. I love it.
It's really well composed.
I must say I am not too crazy about the design of the floor, but the colors for an image are very nice.
I especially the contrast between the busy foor and the white of their clothing.

Three is the lucky number in Buddhism. I like this shot. The lighting on the people is great. I like the pattern on the tiles a lot. almost wish they were a little brighter. This is nice though! JP

Wonderful double pattern is created by the people and by the decorated floor. a great POV and a very good exposure for an indoor shot. I like the magic light that comes from the front. Great one, darren.

Darren, I've other TE's geometric play with this place. You've done it justice too: I think it's brimming with opportunities.

How wonderful! And how inspirating a place like this must be... I liked Maciek's one you linked to, and also his other one, but I also like the depth in yours and the play of light & shadows... Thank you, Darren, for your wonderful photographic work!
