Simple but extremely effective image - more so I think for some of the flowers being shaded.

Hi Brian, I work for an insurance company in their head office. We are owned by one of the world's largest banks. Trust me - I sympathise with your plight and I even wear a suit!

I love the simple colours and the haphazard composition - very free-ing (if that's a real word). I'll have this in my head the next time we have a brainstorming session or I attend a strategic pricing meeting....

Brian,
This looks like a SE Asian image, even with only the vegetation and sky as subject matter. A very clever way to capture a place by focusing on only the bare essentials. I knew that this was an Asian motif even before I read your comments. Beautiful photograph!

I like the brightness and simplicity of this image; it conveys a feeling of optimism very effectively.
The red leaves make a great contrast with the blue sky, although I would have preferred it if the if the colour and brightness of the sky was uniform across the frame.

I love this, the POV is great! You always seem to find the perfect red and blue combination. The colors in this shot remind me of the colors in that lantern photo that I mentioned for your theme 

In my office it’s all about the acronyms. For some reason I remember the companies message less when presented as an acronym. Recently a coworker stated “Work smarter not harder” if I truly listed to that one, I would be working towards developing my creative mind and not sitting in a crazy office stunting its growth. Alas the bills must be paid.

This is the photo one places at ones desk in order to escape while a suite drones on about “thinking out of the box” and wanting to give a “heads up” on that new project that will chain you to your desk for the next 3 weeks.

Browsing your portfolio, I think you have a great eye for composition. I especially like this image for its uniqueness. The backlit red leaves are a wonderful contrast against the blue sky and at the top of the otherwise bare twigs they feel somehow surreal. Great work.
