The radio telecommunications tower at Dalat, bears a striking resemblance, to a more famous Parisian landmark.
Vietnam was a French colony for centuries, until it gained independence in 1975. Dalat is a cooler, elevated, plateau area, popular with French colonists, to escape the summer heat (1500 metres above sea level).
It would have been nice to get the top of the tower in, but this was the best I could do, with a 28mm lens, at close quarters.

hi chrsi, an unexpected view - the famous landmark adopted for the vietnamese purposes;
nice picture but i think that now you would compose it more "bravely" - bit tilted so that we can see the whole tower;
anyhow - nice image, and interesting note;
best wishes, jerzy

A not so usual approach and prespective to catch this strange tower like Paolo say. I like the perspective for composition. Good colors and contrast.
Well done and well composed.

I had a trip, but i came back. I think the saturation and the contrast is high in this picture, but it's really interesting to see this beautiful tower, nice point of view and theme.
I like the sky color it looks very natural.

Hi Chris. That must be the most expensive radio tower in all of recorded history! :) You did well fitting most of it in. I take it something had to go with the close quarters. Good note too. Well done Chris.

Hi Chris, I like the simple scenery shot. The contrast between the green and the TV tower makes a feeling of the contrast of the man-made with the natural.
Nice contrast and good sharpness. I agree with you that it would be nice if the top of the tower is included.

What a tower.
Unfortunately you are unable to cover the tip of the tower. This will make your shot a towering one!
Well done, Chris.

This is Da Lat !
An incredibly kitsch place and atmosphere, but a really nice one too !
I suppose the dof was hard to find, but the compo is interesting.

Le contraste ici est superbe et le sujet s'en detache vraiment bien.
J'aime bien ce decalage de couleur entre le bleu et lme rouge .
