Photographer’s Note

At the confluence of the Krong Let river and Đa Nhim river at Đơn dương town (Lam Dong province), they had built a hydraulic reservoir (at over 1,000m compared with sea level, width 11-12 km² and the area is 165 million m³ of water) to provide water for Da nhim water-power station. They had built a dam of 1500m long, 38m height, 180 m depth wide dam, dam's face width 6 m. Here they have a water tunnel of 5 km long through the mountains to connect the two pipes with water pressure of 45° slope, 2040 m length and diameter 1m on each pipe. Water from the bottom of the hydraulic reservoir goes along these pipes down to 4 tourbin system in Da nhim water-power station at the Krong Pha River at 210 m height.
