Hello Hu,
a wonderful and fascinating portrait. The silver hair so well rendered agaisnt a dark background. And wsell composed to incldue the contrasting colours of the dress.

This is a wonderful portrait. How did you get the black back ground. It looks natural but a bit unbelievable. Her hair is magnificent. I'm also interested in how Native America she looks. It is interesting how people from the opposite side of the world can actually look the same. Well done!

.powerful backlight from the above and left
.supeb expression on her face, strong feature
.good direct eye contact with catchlights
.the blue is very prominent
.good choice of black BG
I note the comment from KateinDenmark and in my opinion, this expression can only come from a woman experienced through extreme hardship struggle and poverty in life.

Interesting portrait. Nice light on hair and face of this lady. Nice colours and an impressive face. Really good work.I like this kind of photography much more than meaningless landscapes of which we see a lot.
